Jamestown Vegetation Fire Close To Contained

Jamestown, CA — CDF Officials are reporting that a two acre vegetation fire in Jamestown is almost contained.

Reports indicate the fire started before 2:00pm and thanks to the quick action of firefighters, the blaze was under control shortly.

CDF Tuolumne County Fire says four engines responded with two hand crews and water tenders.

Karry Hubbard with CDF says a dozer and helicopter are standing by, however she doesn´t think they will be utilized.

The fire is located off of Highway 108 at Woodsway Road.
