Arnold, CA — Caltrans gives the community of Arnold an $80,000 transportation planning grant.
Calaveras Council of Governments Interim Director Brittany Odermann says the money will produce a “livable community” plan that encourages bicycle travel, in-fill development and compact land use design.
The plan will be developed through public workshops.
Supervisor Merita Callaway and other Arnold community members helped apply for the grant last October.
