Sonora, CA — The accident that closed Highway 108 at Crab Tree Road Friday evening was one that involved countless medical, fire, and other emergency crews.
Initial Highway Patrol reports indicated it was a two vehicle accident involving at least one passenger vehicle that overturned.
CHP officials say people were trapped inside the overturned vehicle and had to be removed using the Jaws of Life.
Additional information regarding injuries and the cause of the accident is unavailable at this time.
