Sonora, CA– A Parolee at Large will be sent back to State prison after being arrested in the Junction Shopping center.
A team of parole agents from the Fresno area were on their way to Sonora to search for Shaun Barrett, who has a criminal history of felony threats and violent assaults, when he was spotted in the area of Campo Seco and Lime Kiln Rd. by a State Parole officer Monday afternoon.
The Parole Officer followed the 1991 Ford Explorer into the Junction shopping center while he called for assistance. The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s department, Sonora P.D, and CHP officers aided converging on the vehicle and arresting Barrett without incident.
