Copperopolis, CA — The Copperopolis Fire District is receiving a new water tender thanks to a hefty contribution by the county.
The Board of Supervisors decided Monday to give $150,000 towards the purchase.
The district has already paid for the tender, which cost about $230,000.
District officials say the rig is awaiting radios to be installed and will be ready for the upcoming fire season.
