Sacramento, CA — The California Public Employees´ Retirement System has a new chief investment officer.
42 year old Russell Read , an industry veteran who last worked at Deutsche Asset Management in New York, is scheduled to start work June first.
The retirement system is the nation´s largest public pension fund.
