Copperopolis, CA — Saddle Creek Resort has contracted with famed golf course architect Carter Morrish to design nine holes to add to its existing 18 hole course.
Morrish was involved with design of the original 18. He promised the new course would be the best of the three nines.
Club golf pro Chris Bitticks said there is no timeline for construction yet. The current owners of Saddle Creek have always planned on the additional nine. Homes have been sold around the area where the holes will be built.
How a 27-hole course works is that on any day golfers can play two of the three nines.
