Sonora, CA– The foothills are growing faster than ever.
Tuolumne Countie´s population has risen by 4.5 percent over the last year making Tuolumne County the 60th fastest growing county in the country during 2004 and 2005.
Officials say the population has increased by about 2,500 people in the last year. Calaveras County is also on a fast growth track being the fifth fastest growing county in California since 2000.
