Modesto, CA — A Big Oak Flat man is facing several charges after a traffic stop Tuesday.
Stanislaus County Sheriff´s Deputies discovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun, a sawed-off rifle, bullet proof vests, an electronic blasting cap, and a time delay fuse inside 26-year-old Shawn Hipol´s car.
Reports indicate Hipol admitted to being on parole and having weapons in the vehicle. A passenger was also arrested for two outstanding felony warrants. Both were booked into the Stanislaus County Jail.
