No Break In Wet Weather Monday

Sonora, CA — A Winter Storm warning remains in effect until tonight as more rain and snow pound the Mother Lode.

The National Weather Service says snow levels will fall to 4,000 feet by this afternoon.

Snowfall amounts of 25 to 30 inches will be possible above 5,000 feet with lesser amounts down to 4,000 feet.

Gusty winds will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow. Officials say the weather may impact travel in some areas.
