Sacramento, CA — A new poll out today says a large majority of Californians continue to support the death penalty and they favor carrying it out by lethal injection.
According to a survey by the Field Poll, roughly 63 percent of 500 adults asked are in favor of capital punishment.
57 percent of those asked said they favored lethal injection over the gas chamber
The poll also found that about 48 percent believe the death penalty is fair and error-free.
That´s down from two years ago when 58 percent of the people asked held the same view.
