Sacramento, CA — Surveyors say the Sierra Nevada´s snowpack levels are back down to average.
The latest survey was taken yesterday and surveyors were disappointed. They had recorded snowpack at 20 percent above average just last month.
The surveys help planners gauge water supplies for the coming summer.
Scientists say storms predicted for later this week should add snow.
