Planning Committee To Review Inclusionary Ordinance

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Planning Committee will once again be looking at the inclusionary ordinance at its meeting today.

More specifically, committee members will be adding definitions for words related to affordable housing in Tuolumne County.

The ordinance would require developers to designate a portion of their projects as affordable housing based on the mean average income of county residents.

After it goes through the planning committee, it will then be reviewed by the four different planning commissions that cover the county. The meeting is scheduled for 1:30pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers
