Sonora, CA — CHP officers are on the scene of a possible fatal car accident on Kewin Mill Road at Big Hill Road in the Phoenix Lake area.
Tom Wills of the CHP says one involved party is being transported to Tuolumne General Hospital.
Officials of nearby Belleview School have been notified. The road is closed in both directions as officers work to clear the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if at all possible, or else take an alternate route.
