Sonora, CA — Liz Bass is the new Chair of the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors.
In a meeting today, Board members nominated Bass as the Chair after the previous Chairman, Paolo Maffei stepped down.
Supervisor Mark Thornton was elected as Vice Chair. The Board also approved the setting of their salaries for the year at $34,209.76, up from $32,894 last year.
