Angels Camp, Ca — While the name is still being withheld pending notification of family, the CHP says a 26-year-old Mokelumne Hill woman was fatally injured in a collision this morning on Parrotts Ferry Rd.
The unidentified woman was reportedly traveling southbound at 9:55am when she came around a large sweeping curve that was wet and slick from the recent rains.
The woman lost control, and traveled into the opposing lane. She was struck by a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Michael Tipon of Standard. Tipon sustained minor injuries, and was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.
