Sonora, CA — 21 year old Robert Paul Rice of Quarry Rd. in Columbia was arrested by Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies early Saturday morning after burglarizing the Columbia Nursery.
One of the nursery´s owners arrived early and discovered a white male dressed in black going through a set of desk drawers. When confronted he escaped with a small amount of cash but in doing so dropped his cell phone. Deputies traced the phone to Rice and arrested him a short time later.
He was booked into the County Jail on $10,000 bail.
