San Andreas, CA — 31 year old Joseph Butler of Valley Springs is spending this evening at Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto with moderate injuries after his 2005 Honda motorcycle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 20 year old Casey Overmier of San Andreas this morning at 8:15.
According to the CHP report Butler was attempting to make a right hand turn into his driveway at 7095 Jenny Lind Approach Rd. Due to inattention (she was adjusting the radio), Overmier struck the rear of Butler´s bike with his 2003 Chevy 1500 pickup when he was unable to come to a stop from an initial speed of 50mph.
