Clarks Fork Bridge Remains Still To Be Postively Identified

Sonora, CA — Saturday the Search and Rescue Team from the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department recovered the remains of an individual they believe to be Daniel Tindle amongst rocks and debris between Clarks Fork Bridge and the falls.

Positive identification of the remains will be made through a check of dental records and/or DNA in the next couple of days.

It was Sunday afternoon, July 29th when the 25 year old Tuolumne resident along with one other individual went over the waterfall into the river at the second bridge at Clarks Fork. The second individual was rescued.

Searchers were able to recover the remains due to the lower than normal water level.
