Three Killed In Saturday Evening Single Vehicle Accident

San Andreas, CA — Early Saturday evening two Mountain Ranch residents and a Marysville resident were killed in a single vehicle accident on Railroad Flat Rd. north of E. Murray Creek Rd.

According to the CHP report the 70 year old male driver allowed his 1993 Dodge Ram 2500 to drift off the right side of the road. He then lost control of the vehicle and it impacted a large oak tree on the right shoulder.

The driver and the right front passenger, a 61 year old female, were killed instantly. The right rear passenger, a 42 year old female from Marysville, died from her injuries at Mercy San Joaquin Hospital.

Alcohol is suspected as a cause of this triple fatality. Identifications will be released when next of kin have been notified.
