Sonora, CA — Friday 47 year old Nelsen Merle Edwards of the 1500 block of Jenness Rd. in Sonora was booked into the County Jail on numerous drug charges.
A search of Edwards´ residence revealed 22.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, a meth pipe and a weapon described as a three blade “throwing star.” In addition detectives found $446 in cash.
Edwards was on probation for a previous narcotics violation.
