Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County District Attorney´s office has filed formal charges against seven defendants regarding the January, 2007 hazing incidents involving Columbia College student/firefighters.

District Attorney Donald Segerstrom states that Matthew Anthony Rossi, Aaron Keith Means, Christopher Ryan Ingram and Brian Kendall Cole have been charged with one count of hazing and one count of using force and violence upon the person of Andrew Grafius.

The trio of Michael Anthony Hall Sacheli, Cary Eugene Gregg and Timothy Scott O´Neill has been charged with a single count of hazing.

According to the charges the 19 year old Stockton resident was punched, kicked and forced to drink an inordinate amount of beer at an off-campus party.

Segerstrom added that the case has taken a lengthy time to develop due to an extensive number of interviews, the securing of medical records and the January 1 change in the law regarding a more definitive definition of hazing.

Arrest warrants for the seven individuals were issued Tuesday.
