Twain Harte, CA — Sheriff´s deputies arrested a 17 year old white male early this morning following a burglary in the 23000 block of Black Oak.
A neighbor contacted the Sheriff´s Deparment when an individual with a flashlight was spotted at a nearby home. Deputies called for two individuals exiting the house to stop, but they ran and escaped immediate arrest.
The investigation led deputies Derocher and Speers to a nearby residence where they discovered one of the suspects who claimed he had been asleep. The evidence, several DVDs, a cell phone, flashlights, cash, clothing, alcoholic beverages and packages of snack food, indicated otherwise.
The youth was arrested and turned over to the county´s Probation Office. There is at least one other individual involved and there may be two according to Lt. Dan Bressler. The investigation continues.
