PG&E Asks Residents To Conserve Energy

Sonora, Ca — With temperatures hitting the triple digits, PG&E is asking customers to conserve energy this week.

“We don´t want to have any interruptions in service,” says spokesperson Nicole Tam. “Energy conservation can play a key role in balancing the demand for energy with the available supply.”

Tam notes that customers should turn off unnecessary lights and appliances, keep the air conditioner at 78 degrees or higher, and avoid using large appliances between 2-6pm.
