Fresno, CA — A federal judge says Yosemite National Park can proceed with $60 million in construction projects while an appeals court hears a suit brought by environmentalists.
Those environmentalists claim commercial development threatens the park´s fragile ecosystem. Park rangers hailed the ruling as a victory, and say being able to fix a failing sewage system and repave a road that loops through Yosemite Valley would ensure visitors could experience the park in its most pristine form.
