Murphys, CA — Children in their St. Patrick´s Day green were out in full force Saturday for the 2007 edition of the Irish Day Parade in Murphy´s.
The parade started at 11am with more than 40 entries including Grand Marshall St. Patrick and the Bret Harte High School marching band.
Prior to the parade, a silent auction was held in the Native Sons Hall with 90 plus items up for sale. A trip for two to Ireland highlighted the 4pm raffle.
In addition to the parade there was plenty of street vendors, entertainment and outstanding food.
