Columbia, CA — Four pipe bombs discovered on the Columbia College campus Tuesday afternoon were destroyed that evening.
Once the bombs were discovered by a landscaping crew, the Bomb Unit of the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department was contacted to detonate the one and one-half-inch by 12 inch pipe bombs. That detonation took place during the 7pm hour.
There were no injuries and no classes were interrupted.
