Modesto, CA — Funeral Services will be held today for one of the individuals who helped lead the effort to build the New Melones Reservoir.
John L. Hertle got involved in the campaign following the major floods of 1955. He passed away this week at the age of 77.
A funeral service will be held at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Modesto at 11am.
