Murphys, CA — Highway 4 right now is covered in snow.
Past Forest Meadows cars are pulled to the side of the road and big rigs can be seen parking in the middle of the highway.
One traveler says there is six inches of snow on the highway in Arnold.
CHP says chains are required beginning at Apple Blossom just before the Utica Grade.
CHP advises travelers in the area that they must carry chains and be prepared to use them.
