Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department will stage a downtown procession in honor of the late Jim Segerstrom tomorrow.
The longtime Search and Rescue Team member died February 5 in the U.C.-San Francisco Medical Center. Sheriff-Coroner Jim Mele has labeled Segerstrom as the “heart and soul” of the team.
Regarding the staging of the procession, School St. will be closed from 10am to 12:30pm. From noon until approximately 12:30 Washington St. will be closed as the procession makes its way from School St. onto Washington St. then south to Hwy. 108.
The memorial service is set for 1pm at Sierra Bible Church.
