Murphys, CA — Five people were arrested during probation and parole compliance checks this week in the Murphys and Arnold areas.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department Investigation Deputies, and the Narcotics Enforcement Unit along with the California State Parole conducted the checks on Tuesday.
57-year old Vincent Guida was arrested for a parole violation. 20-year old Eric Bledsoe, 54-year old Carol Marie Gray and 45-year old Stephan Dodge were all arrested for possession of a controlled substance. 30-year old Brandi Lynn Tallant was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
The Sheriff´s Department says not all of those arrested were on probation or parole but were contacted during the compliance checks.
Random compliance checks will continue throughout Calaveras County.
