Sonora, CA — The C.H.P. has closed Parrotts Ferry Rd. from Columbia Elementary School north past the state historic park due to icy conditions.
Officer Tom Wills reports that seven to eight big rigs are either off the road or unable to gain traction while several private vehicles are also off the road.
County sand trucks are responding to the area.
