Santa Arrives At Standard Park

Sonora, Ca — The reindeer received a break Saturday afternoon as Santa Claus was flown into Standard Park by the PHI Air Medical Team and Tuolumne County Ambulance.

Santa was greeted shortly after the noon hour by hundreds of cheering children who waited anxiously in hopes of letting ?Ole Saint Nick? know their Christmas wishes.

?All these kids I´ve seen today have been great, they are real good kids and I look forward to bringing them presents,? said Santa. ?The fly-in was beautiful, and I hope the weather is this great on Christmas Eve.”

After hearing from all of the children, Santa loaded back up into the helicopter and prepared for his trip back to the North Pole.

The annual Santa Fly-In was sponsored by Clarke Broadcasting. On hand to entertain the crowd were Justin and Maryann from Star 92.7, Big Joe and Bridgette from Today´s Country 93.5 KKBN and the popular comedy of Professor Zounds.
