Santa Arrives Early At Copperopolis Town Square

Copperopolis, CA — Just a two days after Thanksgiving Santa had already departed the North Pole and was discovered making a stop at the Castle & Cooke developed Copperopolis Town Square off Little John Rd.

Santa was on hand to ride with the children (and some parents) around the Town Square in a horse drawn carriage. Picture taking was a high priority for family and friends throughout the entire evening.

While Christmas music played in the background there was a trio of carolers near the decorated gazebo singing all the traditional favorites.

Following the ride there was the official lighting of the tree which stands between 40 and 50 feet tall in the midst of the Town Square.

Many of the shops remained open well after the normal closing time so visitors would feel welcome to spend an entire evening at the Town Square.
