Sonora, CA — 2am Sunday Daylight Saving Time (DST) will come to an end.
And with that CAL Fire Battalion Chief Dennis Townsend recommends that all residents change their smoke detector batteries regardless the amount of use in either a private residence or a business office complex.
Too many house fires could be avoided every year if the batteries were changes on a regular basis. Townsend adds that a human life isn´t a couple of dollars.
