Sacramento, CA — According to the Associated Press 66 year old Marc Keyser of Sacramento was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges he sent hoax letters with the label “Anthrax Sample” which actually contained sugar through the U.S. Postal System.
Keyser allegedly sent those letters to over 120 media outlets including two Sacramento television stations, the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Charlotte, North Carolina Observer. Keyser also sent an envelope to the Modesto office of 19th District Congressman George Radanovich. The Congressman was not in the office when it was evacuated at 10am Wednesday.
