San Andreas, CA — CAL Fire is reporting the 9.2 acre J-59-LaGrange Rd. vegetation fire has been contained.
All aircraft have returned to the Columbia Air Base. A number of ground resources remain on scene.
CAL Fire Information Officer Nancy Longmore reports the blaze started as a roadside spot fire near the Boat House Mini-Mart and quickly spread due to windy conditions.
Cause of the fire has yet to be determined. A CAL Fire Investigator is currently on site.
