Vallecito, Ca — A truck transporting heavy equipment has been ruled the cause of three separate vegetation fires in the Camp Nine area of Vallecito Tuesday morning.
The fires were 2 « acres, 1 « acre and small spot less than an acre. The fires were all in areas of heavy brush. CAL Fire reports that steep terrain made suppression efforts difficult.
An engine remains on scene today for mop-up. One firefighter reported an ankle injury. The total dollar damage has been reported as $800. The fires started during the eight o´clock hour.
