Tuolumne Supervisors Set For Tuesday Meeting

Sonora, CA — Tuesday should prove to be a rather short meeting for the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors with the exception of two closed sessions at the conclusion of the “open to the public” meeting.

Today the supervisors will approve a revised organizational chart, staffing levels, classification specifications, salary levels and bargaining unit assignments along with recruitment for the Crisis Assessment/Intervention Program of the Behavioral Health Department.

Bruce Rossio will be reappointed to the airport Land Use Commission for a term to expire May 1, 2012.

There will be a resolution to consider requesting that the State reinstate the clause “living community” in all concession contracts at Columbia Historic State Park.

There will also be consideration of authorizing the submission of the 2008 Homeland Security Grant Program application package to the State in the amount of $212,538.

From the Department of Public Works there will be consideration of directing staff on resolving the future function of the existing Rawhide Rd. Bridge at Woods Creek. Also there will be consideration of approving plans, specifications, proposed documents, contract and Notice to Contractors for the Jamestown Main Street Beautification project 1532 and issuance of a call for bids on September 11, 2008 at 2pm in the Public Works Department.
