Satellite Station Set Up To Help Mariposa Evacuees

Mariposa, Ca — The Telegraph Fire in Mariposa County is estimated to be 30,000 acres in size, and officials still do not have an estimate for full containment.

A satellite station has been set up at the Mariposa Elementary School to allow evacuated residents an opportunity to use phones, computers and the internet.

A Claim Catastrophe Vehicle has been set up by Farmers Insurance Group, and can be used by anyone hoping to contact family members. Food and water are also being provided. The location is 50411 Jones St. in Mariposa.
