Mariposa, Ca — Local resources from the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit are helping with a 100 plus acre fire in Mariposa County located near River Canyon.
It is about 10 miles from the town of Mariposa and near Hwy 140. Smoke has reportedly been visible in portions of south Tuolumne County.
