San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Peggy Sue Wagner the Sonora area was hit by three small fires this morning.
The first, a two acre fire, occured at 2:07am at the water treatment plant off Southgate.
A large spot fire was then reported 22 minutes later off Lyons-Bald Mountain Rd.
The third fire, also a large spot, was reported behind Sonora Elementary School at 3:33am.
Resources for all three fires came from CAL Fire and the Sonora Fire Department.
Cause of the fires has yet to be determined.
