Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors approved a number of items related the new Behavioral Health Department at today´s meeting.
On December 11, the Board voted to transition from a contracted model to an in-house county run program when it comes to mental health services. Previously the county had contracted through Kings View organization.
Approved today was the organizational chart, staffing levels, classification specifications, salary levels, hiring incentives and recruitment policies.
The Behavioral Department´s preliminary budget for 2008/09 is $7,487,354.
