Sonora, CA — Late Friday evening the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies arrested 20 year old Morgan Grant Wivell in Jamestown.

At approximately 11pm deputies responded to a reported juvenile problem at the Whistle Stop Mini-Mart at 18382 Hwy 108 in Jamestown. Deputies made contact with Wivell and learned he had an outstanding warrant. Wivell fled the scene only to be discovered a short time later hiding under the deck of a nearby residence.

When he refused to cooperate with deputies, he was tasered and taken into custody. Deputies found less than an ounce of marijuana and 4.8 grams of concentrated cannibis, which constitutes a felony, in his possession. Wivell was booked into the County Jail and released after posting bail.
