Hwy 108 Reopens After Jackknifed Big Rig Is Cleared

Sonora, CA — CHP Officer Mike Remmel reports that Hwy 108 near the J-59 intersection has reopened after a jackknifed big rig was cleared from the scene.

Remmel adds that motorists must chain up if they have any chance of climbing the hill toward the Jamestown-Sonora area.

Following the big rig clearing the fifth vehicle through that area also spun out slowing traffic in the eastbound direction.
