Chamber Of Commerce Will Recognize Community Leaders

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce will be recognizing some community leaders at its November 19th Honors and Installation Banquet.

This year’s “Excellence in Government Award” will be given to Ed Wylie, the City of Sonora Public Works Director. The “Teacher of the Year” is Nancy Anderson of the Twain Harte School. The “Entrepreneur of the Year” Charlene (Char) Wrighton, owner-operator of Safari Learning and co-founder of Zoo-phonics. The “Citizen of the Year” is Ron Hamilton, President of Tuolumne Cunty 4-H Leaders Council and club leader for the Tuolumne Pioneers.

The event is scheduled for the evening of November 19th at the Sonora Elks Lodge.
