Valley Springs Resident Survives Motorcycle Accident

Sonora, CA — David Adams of Valley Springs survived a motorcycle accident on Hwy 49 just north of the Stevenot Bridge and south of the Carson curves this morning.

According to CHP Public Information Officer Becky Myers the accident occured at approximately 8:50. The on-scene investigator stated that Adams was southbound and it was his excessive speed that caused him to lose control of his bike.

Adams hit the guard rail causing undetermined injuries to his right leg. He was transported to Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
