Fire Burns In Stanislaus National Forest

Groveland, CA — There is a one acre fire burning 13 miles northeast of Buck Meadows in the Groveland Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest.

Forest Service Spokesperson Pat Kaunert says it currently does not pose a threat to any nearby homes or communities. It is approximately 1/2 mile west of the Evergreen Lodge.

Firefighters are using Evergreen Rd. to access the fire. Resources from the Forest Service, CAL Fire and Yosemite National Park are all assisting.
