Delays Can Be Expected This Week On Multiple Roads

Sonora, CA — Caltrans will be starting multiple road construction projects this week across the Mother Lode.

In Tuolumne County crews will be grinding out asphalt of Hwy 49 between Woods Creek and the junction of Hwy 108 (Washington St.) between 7pm Monday and 7am Tuesday. Motorist can expect 20 minute delays.

On Hwy 108/120 a paving project will run from Green Springs Rd. to Tulloch Rd. on Monday through Friday from 7am-5pm. 20 minute delays should be expected.

In Calaveras County, the east and west lanes of Hwy 4 will be repaved at various different locations beginning Monday and continuing through Friday. Work will take place from 8am-4pm and 15 minute delays are a possibility.

On Hwy 49 on a one day project will run Tuesday from 8am-4pm from Whittle Ranch Rd. to Gun Club Rd. 15 minute delays are expected.
