Sonora, CA — A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for central Tuolumne County until 4:15pm this afternoon.
Heavy rain and penny to nickel size hail have been reported in the areas around Pinecrest and Strawberry. National Weather Service Doppler Radar has indicated rainfall rates of over an inch per hour. The storm is moving west at five miles per hour.
Excessive runoff from the rain could cause the flooding of small creeks and streams.
